SRB5 RESULTS | OverviewThis was a wide ranging and innovative consultation exercise that gathered the views of hundreds of people, many of whom had not been consulted with before. (For an idea of who the Programme was targeting take a look at the communities section of this site.) The main reason for running the programme was to ask people in Brighton & Hove about their concerns - to see what they think are the key issues for the city and its future. Their views covered a wide range of subjects and identified a number of different prioriites. The following lists explain the main issues raised during the consultation and provide a route into the full range of reports and feedback available as a result of the project. The Foundation Issues and Mega Issues highlight the concerns raised by most people most often. The lists of Common Issues and Key Themes draw together longer reports that reflect the overall feedback from the consultation. FOUNDATION ISSUESThe research identified two issues that determine people's ability to access and relate to the key themes in our consultation:
MEGA ISSUESThere were a number of universal or common issues that appeared either in all 22 reports across neighbourhoods and communities of interest, or in the majority of reports. We have clustered these into five MEGA ISSUES, which are;
COMMON ISSUESHaving identified the Foundation and Mega Issues we have reported on and discussed the 50 most common and most prominent isses which arose from the research.This provides an overview of the issues raised within the consultation and offers a flavour of the sorts of concerns shared by people living in all areas and from across all communities.
